John Curtis

John is one of the UK’s leading low carbon transport experts, marketeers and journalists. He studied law at the University of Edinburgh and was the Head of Sustainable Transport for the Scottish Government. John worked on a number of high profile low carbon transport programmes using his policy experience and commercial skills to solve transport problems for businesses.

Gary McRae

Gary McRae graduated from The Robert Gordon University with an honours Degree in Business Studies. He worked in the Haulage industry for seven years in Dundee before joining Dundee City Council in 2005, and has been involved with EVs and charging infrastructure for the last five years, overseeing the introduction of the largest Local Authority Fleet of EVs in the UK as well one of the largest urban rapid charging networks in the country.

Laurence Kenney

Laurence Kenney is Head of low carbon vehicle policy, Transport Scotland and a Chartered Engineer with around 15 years’ experience in the transport sector. He holds an MEng in Civil and Environmental Engineering and an MSc in Transport Planning and Engineering. He joined Transport Scotland on secondment in 2006 to assist with the Strategic Transport Projects Review and has subsequently worked on a wide variety of projects.

Lynne Short

Lynne Short is the Convener of the City Development Committee at Dundee City Council. Prior to this she worked in industry, travel & tourism and latterly in property. She has a passion for Dundee, which was strengthened by working and living outside of the city both in the UK and Mainland Europe.
